Subject: Announcement for Guideline on Application of Vessel Line Handling Service

1. For the privatization and liberalization of the vessel line handling service (hereinafter referred to as “the service”), Port of Kaohsiung,  Taiwan International Ports Corporation, LTD. (hereinafter referred to as “the branch office”) is now available for applying the service by private enterprise.
   (1) Please collect and send all required application documents to the branch office (No. 62, Linhai 2nd Rd., Gushan Dist., Kaohsiung City 80443, Taiwan (R.O.C.)) with red fonts “Application for Establishment of Vessel Line Handling Service in Port of Kaohsiung” on the front of the registered envelope according to Article 7 of Guideline on Application of Vessel Line Handling Service Available for Private Enterprise. Any submission without a registered envelope will be rejected.
   (2) Standard of Qualification: Documents submitted comply with the Guideline.
   (3) Private enterprise approved to establish shall submit relevant documents to the branch office for review and survey in three months (application for an extension is acceptable). The branch office shall reply date of commencement, and send copies to shipping companies, agencies and pilot association.
2. Please contact with Harbor Craft Center (+886-7-5622114), Harbor Management Department of the branch office for application documents.
3. Enterprise operating line handling service in Port of Kaohsiung shall pay Management Fee and Dockage to the branch office.
